Now you can hear clips, order the CD, or buy the downloads all at one time.  You will get to preview 12 blistering blues rock songs in the vein of Glenn Kaiser Band/Rez, Georgia Satellites, ZZ Top, and more.  The CD artwork was designed by my friend Jim Willis from California and looks amazing.  It features dancing skeletons playing my own D'Bare Guitar creations.  Check it out!

On my guitar I bang
I don't have a nasal twang
I guess its a blues thang!

The CD and downloads ARE available at CD Baby.  I don't know how long it will take, but all major digital stores like iTunes, Amazon MP3, Spotify, iHeartMusic, Rhapsody, eMusic, etc. will soon be carrying this.  Also, Roxx Productions' Christian Metal Distro will also be stocking the disc.

This is a great album that I know you will love!  It is by far the best album I've done to date with a sound that is HUGE.  This album isn'r as "preachy" as I have been labeled in the past.  While there are songs that deal directly with my faith and are very upfront about it (Rest In Peace, Telephone, Bound For a Throne, Giant, etc.), there are several fun songs.  They deal with having a bad day (Life's Just Bad), the burden of Walmart (Walmart Blues), and there is even a Christmas song (You'll Shoot Your Eye Out).  There are also songs that deal more with social issues like rape (Daddy's Little Girl) and child neglect (Girl In The Window).  I even deal with a little confession of sometimes getting angry and wanting to punch someone's lights out (Punch In The Face)The title track starts off more with a front porch feel with just me singing and playing my cigar box guitar.  I tell a tale of two murders and tie the story together with a nod to the band Bride.  My chorus uses their line "I hope you and Jesus have it all worked out".

I seriously need to learn how to market my music.  I am on Spotify, Pandora, CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes, eMusic, etc. and cannot get people to check out the blues album.  How do you get people to check out your stuff without having to spam the crap out of every page you come across?  How do you build a following?

Time and effort. You have to go to forums (beyond these common ones) and interact with people as well as on Facebook. Maybe do a give away where people have to get people on your page or something.

Realistically, unless you are trying to do music as a full time job, who really has time for that?  Facebook, I can keep up with.  I might even venture out with Twitter.  Beyond that, I can't see being able to balance working at school, at the church, trying to build guitars, trying to work on new music, having a wife, and doing that much marketing.

Well, then be happy with what you've sold. There is no better advertising than "pressing the flesh". Bands don't make a lot of money on their music. It's mainly merchandising when they tour. They also tour to get their name out there. Obviously you can't do that. So the next step is making a lasting impression in peoples lives. Do you know where I get most of my traffic to my website from? A t-shirt forum I used to go to. My site is listed in it's signature. It has no description, just the link. I get more hits from that place than any of the metal forums I go to. Go figure. But I was a big active member there. People looking for answers come across my link. When Rose was getting ready to do his Kickstarter, I noticed that he didn't do a lot of posting anad talking, and I think he suffered a little for it. Other artist I see are very active and do a lot of promotion before hand. Like I said before: time and effort.

Actually, I can do some touring locally.  I am working on learning my guitar solos again on the album and am practicing some with the songs and a stomp box.  While the album has a fuller sound, this would get me out there and hopefully find other musicians in so doing.
