Watched Bubba Ho-tep. I'd had heard about it being a horror cult favorite and thought the premise sounded interesting and funny. It was neither funny, interesting or really a horror movie. (Kerrick will probably hate me now)
Re: Recently Watched Movies
I already hate you for slacking off so hard on Warpriest, so your poor movie taste is really only a drop in the bucket.
Hahaha anyways... I saw that movie years ago and remember thinking it was enjoyable enough, though it didn't meet my expectations either.

The Mummy (2017)
It was fun, but I far prefer the Brendon Frazier version from back in the 90s.

I kind of liked it. If anything, I can safely say it's the best film that has Elvis and JFK teaming up.

I had a hard time slogging through Warcraft a while back.
Why are you going to torture yourself with Transformers 5!

I'm afraid I'm not really the one to ask.
a) I am a huge Blizzard games fan, though I only play at home (meaning no online gameplay), so I've never gotten into World of Warcraft. But I own Warcraft I, II, and III, along with all the expansion packs; Diablo I, II, and III and their expansion packs; and StarCraft I and II and their expansion packs.
b) I am a huge fantasy movie fan, even those that are "B-rated." I don't care if it's cheesy, or even if it insults my intelligence a bit, I love it.
c) I love Travis Fimmel; I watched all of the Vikings series, even though I had to turn my head sometimes because of the more-graphic-than-necessary sex scenes. That said, his character is now dead, (his character's "rags to riches" story is what drew me in to begin with), and I really don't like the direction the story has gone, so I won't be watching any more. In any case, I love his acting style, and I think he was perfect for the role he played in WarCraft.
So, all those points considered, I loved it.

Other than the fact that alien robots swear like sailors, the movie was on par with the rest of this series. It's all Michael bay brain candy It wasn't meant to be high art.

Inception. Meh, I think I'll stick with the Nightmare on Elm Street series for my "dream world" fix.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Watched an old sci-fi movie that my mother had told me about when I was a kid. It was called "Journey to the Far Side of the Sun". The premise was neat and the special effects were pretty good. Sometimes they had the feel of the old Thunderbirds show. The ending was weird tho and disappointing to me.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Not a movie (more like a miniseries), but I just finished the first season of the Netflix show "A Series of Unfortunate Events". Excellent show, and Neil Patrick Harris and Patrick Warburton are great. I'm planning on watching the Jim Carrey movie to see how it compares.
