An announcement was recently made that the first three Bride albums scheduled to be re-issued on vinyl via Blast Zone Entertainment. The three releases are currently in the crowd funding stage at IndieGogo:

Re: Bride - Vinyl re-issues
One question I have is, does anybody know the legitimacy of "Blastzone Entertainment"? I've never heard of them. Usually stuff like this comes out of Roxx or Ulterium. I couln't find much about them on the internet.
Re: Bride - Vinyl re-issues
Dale Thompson has mentioned the vinyl re-releases on his Facebook page (September 21, 2015 post).
Re: Bride - Vinyl re-issues
If not done right they could sound awful. The pressing plant Roxx uses has done tons of pressings including Kiss, Iron Maiden, Michael Jackson, The Clash and more. With a track record like that I knew they would be quality pressings (and the Ultimatum and Deliverance records are of great quality). I am not interested in these Bride releases but if I were I would contact Blastzone and ask them who is doing the pressing.

Re: Bride - Vinyl re-issues
I want these as much as anyone, but unfortunately, these indiegogo campaigns won't succeed.
We're already in over a week and each is less than $100. It's just not going to happen.
They would have done better to reissue just one and have everyone pour money into that rather than divide it up across three releases.

If you search hard enough, the original pressings of these on vinyl don't sell for all that much (show no mercy usually sells for a bit though). I've seen numerous copies of both live to die and silence for well under $20.
Too bad they have no plans for Snakes in the Playground on vinyl, I'd pledge for that in a heartbeat!

To me this is a cash grab. I have the originals on tape and got the reissues on cd a few years back.

Re: Bride - Vinyl re-issues
Looks like the campaign flopped huge time. Either no one knows who Bridge is anymore or something else happened.

Nobody cares about those albums. They were super cheesy.

I care, a lot. They were very instrumental in my formative years in Christian metal. I know that others here like them as well.

If they were doing Kinetic Faith or Snakes in the Playground I might be interested but the first 3 albums...not interested at all...

Are you METAL?
I am very very interested in the first three Bride albums.
They are masterpieces in METAL history.
Since album No 4 Bride was just Hard Rock.
I AM METAL!!! I care a lot about the first three albums.
They mean a lot to me.
I have them all as original pressed CD, all as original pressed LP and as remastered versions.
METAAAAALL !!!!!!!!!
...Might...

Yeah I also think they were great and super important. Live to Die especially.

Re: Bride - Vinyl re-issues
Yeah, I like all three of those records. Show No Mercy was pretty cheesy, but Live To Die was a solid slab of heavy metal. Silence Is Madness was Bride having an identity crisis. The transition to hard rock had already begun, but there's still some heavy metal on that album too. There's more filler on that last album than any other Bride album, before or since.

That pretty much describes almost every Bride album since. They haven't stuck to any particular style for very long, have they?

Looks like funding is stuck at 3%, I'm one of the lucky ones to already have both Live and Silence on vinyl, too bad. Like said before, it would probably have been better to put them one by one in the crowdfund. I would've gone for 1. Live to Die, 2. Silence is Madness, 3. Show no Mercy.
What would ye do?

I would go for Silence is Madness for the music, the artwork, and the nostalgia.
Side Note: I remember taking a girl out on a date wearing the Silence t-shirt. Boy did her mom have some questions for me!

Re: Bride - Vinyl re-issues
I think they should have tried to release Kinetic Faith and Snakes In The Playground on vinyl. Most of the fans already have at least three or four versions of the first 3 albums...
