Showbread is Showdead
If anyone was ever a fan of Showbread like me, this is pretty shocking
but apparently they just released their last album "Showbread is Showdead."
They also just released their documentary called "The Music Is Dead" and their own movie "Cancer: A Film By Showbread"
Here is their website for more details
http://showbread.net/
For their album it is a 10 year anniversary of No Sir Nihilism Is Not Practical
So they have all their original members back and the album artwork is a obvious tie into the original.

Wow, that's sad. They weren't my favorite band, but I do have some good memories of their music and shows. One of their shows in 2007 was so intense I actually had to leave early--that's the only time something like that has ever happened to me.

Way to take their cue from Refused's swan song. Maybe they'll also reunite a few years down the road.

Re: Showbread is Showdead
This is one of those bands where I always wanted to get into them, never found the time, and now they are done. Wow, time flies. I still remember seeing posts on other forums about Showbread as a new band and I feel like their first album just came out.
Well, I guess it's time to start listening.

I cant believe they have broken up either to me they were a band that would always be around.
I really was into No Sir, Age Of Reptiles, Anorexia, Nervosa, and The Fear of God, but their next two after that I kinda fell out of following them and to be honest I thought those 2 in particular were a little too weird for my taste
Anyway to me the new album is a return to form

I think "Showbread is Showdead" is a little bit of a dramatic way to announce it.

I assume it is their final album. I mean the title is a dramatic way to announce they are splitting.
