Orationem "Fulfiller, Sustainer, Preserving Protector"

So, I was just a little bit bummed regarding the awesome job I got hired for, and got thrown under the bus by the recruiter there about my background.
Deep in prayer Wednesday, I felt God telling me to finish the next Orationem album.

I had the drums done labor day weekend (recorded in one day). I sat down with a guitar and all these riffs just started coming to me.
I've never written music AND lyrics AND recorded an completed album in a total of 3 days before. Especially an album that's 7 tracks and over 48 minutes in length.

I wouldn't have thought that would have been possible, but I feel like I was just the instrument for His music and message.
...and obviously, through Christ, anything is possible.

This next video features 2 minutes of each song. The title track (also the name of the album) really surprised me.
Its a really doomy track, reminding me a lot of the "Scepter of Blood" song I did in 99.



↑ The content of the video actually stops at 14 minutes. Don't know why its listing as 21 minutes?
No sense in watching / listening past 14 minutes - its just a black screen.

November 2015 is when I start selling these / making CDs.
Like the debut self titled, this album will also be $7.

I went into more detail about that on this thread.

The short version is,

I've got a felony battery on my record 10 years ago. One of the many reasons I stopped drinking, grew up and turned my focus back to God.
I was open with the recruiter about my background months ago, she assured me it wouldn't be an issue because the company only looks back 7 years.
Turns out, the company looks back 12 years and denied working with me because of my criminal record.
When I asked the recruiter about it not being an issue, she denied even talking to me about it. (some CYA on her part)

I plan on promoting one of the new tracks on The Master's Metal Episode 230 (December 10, 2015).  That is the next Brutal show to feature the 2013-2015 releases.  That gives me some time to save up the coin to make the purchase, anyway.

A good option to pick up the release if ordering through the US is ordering overseas for you.

I was contacted by Against Magazine who requested to be Orationem's publicist.  They had a few different options - a 12 week campaign was overkill, but they offered to design and send a press release to 1,300+ media contacts for 15EUR.  

I looked at who's done it before - the only Christian metal band on the list I recognized was Tourniquet.

Why not.  If its a scam, then at least it cost me less than $17.  If its legit and 3 or more sales come from it, then it was worth the investment.

I'll just leave this here.
