The Christian Metal Collection project

Here's a collection of youtube playlist with over 600 Christian metal bands in alphabetical order.
My intention is to create some kind of reference list of what is out there and what it sounds like. Each band is listed with one song. With some I was unsure wether or not they are really Christians. So please, take the information with a grain of salt. 1st. Thess. 5,21.

This is valuable for people who just turned to Christ and long-timers alike because who knows everything out there? And because the list is not complete by any means and because I don't know them all either I'm asking you to help me out: 
If I missed important bands please let me know.
If something should not be listed, tell me, please.

At one time we had a Google spreadsheet posted here that was set up with each band and who they sounded like. Anyone know what happened to it?

Making a list like this takes a lot of effort . Thanks

The Google docs version could be edited by anyone and was easy to update. I'm sure it's still out there somewhere.

Thank you. Added Holy Soldier and X-Sinner though the latter rather qualifies for Hardrock. On the other hand I guess it's an essential band, right? The rest of the bands you mentioned are already listed. I appreciate your support, thanks again.

Isn't this what we already have at Firestream?
I mean, you have there a wide list of artists, albums and lots of info, am I missing something?

Firestream does not show styles in the complete list. Perhaps it's even possible to include Youtube links in the Firestream database? I'd do that if necessary but that's not my I asked for the feature, so we'll see if that will happen anytime soon. Firestream has information on similar secular bands but that's not very accurate. There are understandable reasons for the fact that the comparison information is lacking, and the Google Doc ain't that comprehensive either. It is very good of course but far from complete. A list like that would need more contributors. Even I do only know so many secular bands and the nasty anti-christian or satanic bands I can't talk about because I don't know many of them. I know their names but not how most of them sound. I'm willing to help because I have time and I like to contribute but there's little response, yet.
