Rage Of Angels? New music?

Hmmm... Since I do not know the names of ANY of the members, not sure if this is the same band or not.

No, this is the OTHER Rage Of Angels that is a secular band.

At one time, there was talk of a new version of the Christian band that was to have Rex Carroll on guitar.  The guy who was the singer had posted here looking for people to help write it with or for him.  I don't think that the project got off the ground.

Members of that band went on to for Steelheart who's lead singer ruined his vocal chords setting the record for the longest held highest note for a male lead singer.

I was aware that Rage of Angels morphed into Steelheart (another band I also love!), but I had no idea that the singer ruined his voice? Are you serious? He's out of commission now? That's sad when singers do that. Steve Augerie is another one who did that too.

Yeah that is why Steelheart only had the two albums.

Steelheart still plays shows with the original singer who I believe essentially owns the name... They play clubs & the festival scene. Looking at iTunes they've had albums released as recently as 2008 - and look like 4-5 albums in total. From a few clips the voice sounds pretty good - I'm not hearing a ton of crazy screams but 20+ years will do that.

The rage of angels guys are long gone of course with he singer as the only original member.

The singer did not ruin his vocal chords. He was injured on stage when a lighting truss hit him in the head. He recovered and is still performing.
