Thanks Deepfrair for your contribution. This is prehaps a little to disco-ish or dancy for my tastes but thank you very much all the same cheers.Deepfriar wrote:Okay, how about some non-Christian Psyclon Nine?

Re: Doom Goth industrial
I DEFINITELY highly recommend Virgin Black! One of my absolute favorite bands ever. Their first album Sombre Romantic is their most gothic but all of their material is required to own.

Re: Doom Goth industrial
I'm having difficulty thinking of Celtic influence with doom/goth/industrial... I mean...
Paramaecium is awesome doom...
Kohllapse is awesome goth/industrial...
probably obvious, but what about Eluvietie? Maybe too "happy" sounding?
The Celtic comment makes me think of bands like Ensiferum and Wintersun (both secular but not terribliy offensive lyrics as far as I remember)... but these don't have much goth or industrial element to them...
I don't know how you feel about mixing in a little bit of black metal influence, but I hear a lot of good things about Zero+onE though I haven't gotten into them (yet) myself. They are Christian and supposed to have an industrial sound and black by nature is atmospheric and depressive sounding so perhaps it will interest you.
Their album Der Krieg is on sale at Sanctus Gladius Records and the proceeds go to Pastor Bob's homeless ministry (per the band's request). I'm thinking about ordering it myself.

Re: Doom Goth industrial
Celtic music has ALWAYS sounded "happy" and organic to me which is why I'm difficulty finding a band who mixes it with goth/industrial.
