Top 10 Christian thrash albums of all time

I was listening to Vengeance Rising's Human Sacrifice yesterday, so I totally got in the mood for some thrash. The thrash section of my music library is kind of thin, so I started this topic to see what you guys consider to be the best Christian thrash albums of all time. What albums make it into your top 10?

For me a few standouts in no particular order

You just need to get more Believer and Betrayal and you'll be alright.

Others to check out: Detritus, Jesus Freaks, early Living Sacrifice, Sacrament, Seventh Angel, and Eternal Decision is very Metallica-esque, but they are more groove metal.  Oh, and this little band called Megadeth (hehe) - might as well throw in Boarders too.

I do love me some thrash. The problem I have in making a list is that thrash has been mutated into several sub-genres. Since this isn't a debate on genres, I will just list mine according to my interpretation of said genre. These aren't necessarily in order.

I don´t consider the first two Mortification albums to be thrash. They are more death and grind.

But... here are mine:

Lots of classics and good lists, as I would expect.

1) The Crucified - self titled. My favorite album of all time, and has been now for 25 years!  I still remember sitting in my parents living room and putting this on for the first time.  Gave me goosebumps, and it still does!

2) Believer - extraction from mortality. Riffs, riffs and more riffs!  I still prefer this album to the more technical sanity obscure and dimensions records.

3) Vengeance Rising - once dead.  Saw them on this tour, amazing live, even better on record!  I still listen to this quite often!

4) Incubus - beyond the unknown. Some may not consider them a Christian band, but whatever.  This album is just plain BRUTAL!  The guitar solo on curse of the damned cities is probably my favorite ever.

5-7) Tourniquet - pathogenic / stop the bleeding / psycho.  My favorite TQT era by far, with pathogenic getting a slight edge over stop the bleeding, and psycho coming in a distant third.  There are a couple of "filler" songs on that album, but it's still a killer disc.

8)Drop Dead - death by fusion.  I know it's a compilation of demos, but so what.  Really raw abrasive thrash/death.  Too bad this CD is impossible to find!

9) Consecrator - image of deception. Raw, but that guitar tone is amazing!!  Would have loved to have seen what these guys could have done with an actual recording budget.

10) Immortal - dead & buried.  Scott Albert before he went industrial!  Really great demo.  I like his work in Circle of Dust / Brainchild more, but this demo is a classic!

You've got great taste! I considered adding Incubus - serpent temptation as well (the original vinyl only version before they changed the lyrics), but beyond the unknown just blows it away.  Serpent is still a great album though!

Yeah, if we call Crucified s/t thrash (not trying to say they aren't or don't belong or genre nazi up the thread) it's 2 or 3 for me as well, and definitely a great list.  I've still never looked up Incubus, and the only Immortal I've heard was the one song on the "Demo-lition" album from back in the day.

Good stuff. My all time favorite is probably Psychosurgery, but Pathogenic and Microscopic are close Tourniquet picks. Sanity Obscure and Dimentions are other favorites. I've always liked Seventh Angel's Lament for the Weary as well as The Torment.

Incubus is good but yeah not really Christian.

soon I will  listen to the whole album as well as To hell with the devil which I have not heard in quite sometime....for some reason I overlooked you guys back in the day or rather I had not heard of Temple of blood....which is strange because from what I remember listening to a couple of tunes it sounded like good solid thrash....and no prob that was just my honest opinion from what I heard.

You're right! They are a Punk Rock band. Not sure why I added them to my list to be honest lol. I guess it's because their second and third album had Crossover Thrash in them. But it's not a main/primary genre, just a secondary one. For some reason I was thinking it was a Crossover Thrash album. It's been a long time since I've heard it to be honest. And besides, Crossover Thrash is a separate genre from Thrash Metal anyway heheh. Silly me.
