The following "ballads" have been bouncing around in my mind over the years:

One Bad Pig - When Your Love Died
Bride - I Miss the Rain
Bride - Goodbye
Stryper - Honestly
Holy Soldier - The Pain Inside of Me

You might disagree with what I call a ballad, but nonetheless, I'd like to see what you all post.

One Bad Pig - Red River
Bride - I Miss the Rain
Mad at the World - When the Wind Blows
Saint - The War is Over
Saint - Through You
Stryken - The Answer
Bloodgood - What Have I Done?

Only Christian right? Or secular too?

I was thinking Christian only but why not, let's open it up! Yes, that Lita Ford - Close My Eyes Forever song is a classic and a favorite.

If we are including secular, then Alone Again by Dokken is near the top of my list.

Thanks for jogging my memory, guys! Some great mentions in this threat. A couple that came to my mind:

Bride - I Miss the Rain (very popular it would seem!)
Whitecross - Windows

If I pull out my iPod I'll sit here all morning listing songs so I'll leave it at what popped in my head naturally!

Christian umm... I guess while these are more contemporary songs and not metal I like
Genny Owens "If you want me too" Rebeca St James"Above all".. but I'm a metal head at heart.. I'll stick with Metal Church over the sappy stuff lol..
