Curious about The latest Mortification album?

Been trying to find Mortifications latest album....I am curious is it just like all the other new stuff or is it more like the older stuff? I cant find much to listen to. Basically is it good....Remember I like first 3 albums and primitive so anything like those?

It's in the style of their previous release Scribe of the Pentateuch.

ahhh I see ok thanks for the report guys. I could not find much on the album on the net. It seems people are now able to control downloading albums on youtube which is a shame because people who love bands will buy the C.d. if they enjoy it...at least I will. But when it comes to morts later stuff I wanna hear it first if ya know what I mean. I think erase the Goblin is not to bad.

For what its worth, I thought Realm of the Skeletaur was better than Mort's last several releases, right up to Erasing the Goblin.

I really enjoy it.

I thought it fits right in with Erasing The Goblin and Brain Cleaner which are quite great releases

I haven't liked anything Mortification has done since Post Momentary Affliction.  Those first 3 albums are amazing!  Everything afterwards, not so much.

Same with Tourniquet.  Those first 3 legacy albums are incredible!  Never cared for "Tediquet" after those first 3 albums though.

I stopped listening after Erasing the Goblin. Life got in the way.

exactly like me. Those first three albums are stunning they were at the top of the game back then. And the same same goes for tourniquet first three albums classics then that vanishing lessons came out I was done!

Morty put out a great album with Erasing the Goblin. TQT has stellar stuff with Microscopic View and Where Moth and Rust Destroy.

With Mortification I tend to prefer the newer stuff these days. Not as much a death metal fan as I used to be. Enjoy the thrash/punk style but not a fan of the vocals. I will listen to a song or two at a time and really like, but anymore I find it a little boring.

Anyways Steve is a great bloke so I am happy to keep supporting him and buying his albums. I used to see him live in the Lightforce days.

I would have like to have seen lightforce I think they were pretty good and could have grown into a top heavy metal band in itself. But then we would not have Mortification I suppose.
