I used to hate this kind of music, but maybe I'm mellowing out with age. I don't think this is as bad as I'd heard people say it is. I mean, for what it is...obvious grunge influenced modern rock. The main drawback I think is one, the production. The raw biting sound the guitar and drums have is nice, but it needs some polish. Second, if all these songs had been developed and fleshed out a little more, this could have been much, much better.  Thirdly, eight songs is kind of short, would two more have been that difficult? (and no, two remixes don't count)  Razz

I wouldn't mind getting a real copy of this, but apparently they're all collector's items now.  No

P.S. please don't turn this into another disaster Stryper thread...keep it focused on "Love Trash" album only.  What a Face

I always liked it.  This was Robert making music that wasn't supposed to fit.  It is definitely grungy.  You also hear stuff from Robert on drums that you won't hear him do with Stryper.  That's why I like so many of Bill Menchen's albums is you get to hear Robert unbridled or "unStryped" if you will.  This is just a raw album where Robert could reinvent himself and hardly anyone gave him credit for doing that.  While many will argue, I hear a lot more passion in this than I have some Stryper/Mike Sweet solo albums.

I also appreciate this album more than the kicking it receives. It kind of reminds me of Poundhound (Dug Pinnick's side project) and his rhythmic guitar playing. I was able to buy this on E-bay for cheaps.

One of the worst album covers I have ever seen.
Larry Worley of Fear Not/Love Life sings lead vocals & has a very good voice.

Here's a mini review I wrote earlier this year: All guitars, bass and drums are performed by Robert Sweet, all songs are written by him too. The vocals here are handled by Larry Worley (ex-Fear Not & Love Life). Interpretation of the artwork: Cartoon drawing of a teenage girl tearing up a picture of RS with posters of RS on the walls. Fans were confused by the meaning when this first came out. This was RS's depiction of how Hollywood marriages are thrown away like trash. "If I were a garbage man. If this world were a garbage can. You'd be my Love Trash." Light handed lyrical approach to this subject in most of the songs. This album had some decent reviews but did not kickstart his solo career the way he hoped. It was not promoted. Kinda sad as there is some very good music within in. I found 'The F Word' to be the most enjoyable song, you guessed it, it's a song about forgiveness. The title track is currently the only song from this album on YouTube. This album is increasingly difficult to track down for a decent price. It came with RS Freakin stickers and an offer to order a RS Freakin shirt.

I've always really liked 'Love Trash'. The grungy, nasty tones and effects are right up my alley. I absolutely LOVE Sin Dizzy, and I really like love Trash too. The Stryper side projects are great stuff in my book.

I bought this when it was first released.
I like it, don't love it. The production wasn't that great.

These songs really need a remastering.
Cliffy, you are the master, i am just the leaner(a reverse quote from Darth Vader)
I'd love to hear what Cliffy would do with this, hint, hint!

I know Cliffy's been busy lately, i'll see what i can do remastering these songs.
