Drop Dead - Our Forgotten Destiny

I remember reading a long time ago something here maybe about this material being re-released, anyone know?

I have heard a few tracks featured on Tempered Steel before but just listened to the entire album on youtube, and it is totally awesome. Man, i wish i could get this on CD or Vinyl.

GREAT tape!!  How long ago are you talking about?  It was reissued once about 20 years ago on a CD that compiled all their demos.  In 2000 I put Alan Tregoning in touch w/Kris Weiskittel (DD drummer) with a view to reissue, but I'm pretty sure that ended @ a dead end.  Metal Archives has Kris' email address posted on the DD page: kweiskittel@comcast.net .  Not sure if that's still a good email address, but maybe give it a try and see if you get a response?  I'd buy a CD of a reissue!

Well, haha it could of been anywhere within the last decade that I thought there was some discussion about a re-release possibility in the works.

I got an email back from Kris and he said there's no more CD's available and was last done 10+ years ago.

That 94 comp would be a nice find.

Truth be told, the only tracks on that CD that I care about are the tracks from "Our Forgotten Destiny".  The previous two demos (the first 12 tracks on the CD) sound entirely different.

Listening to this again on the way to work this morning.
Wow this is really good thrash. Lots of riffs/change ups in each song.

They should've been signed back in the day.
