Intense ( a very underrated UK band )

Nope....not a Christian band. Nope....not a " christian friendly " band. Heck I don't really know what the songs are about. But what I do know is, that this is a very good traditional metal band from the UK. I am sharing for purely artistic motives.

These guys love the galloping riffs almost as much as Maiden. I picked up their album "The Shape of Rage". Pretty good band.

Galloping is fun and sounds cool though!

According to Metal-Archives, the lyrical themes are: War, Fantasy, Ancient History.

I enjoy bands that wear their influences on their sleeve, but still have their own sound. Pharaoh is band that is like this as well. I can tell the influences, but I can also distinguish them from other metal bands.

....this is the distinct problem of most " core " bands though.
