The Swedish melodic metal band Harmony will release a new EP entitled "Remembrance" on May 22nd in Europe and on May 26th in North America through Ulterium Records.

The 6 track EP includes four re-recorded songs from the Harmony debut album “Dreaming Awake” as well as two new songs. "Remembrance" features the legendary vocalist Daniel Heiman [ex. Lost Horizon] on vocals on all tracks. The EP is mixed at Studio Fredman [At The Gates, In Flames, Hammerfall] in Gothenburg, Sweden.

"Remembrance" EP track listing:
01. Eternity
02. Dreaming Awake
03. Without You
04. She
05. In His Heart
06. Feed My Hunger

I was [and still am] a big fan of Dreaming Awake but I've always felt that the songs deserved a better production. So personally I love these re-recorded tracks. Daniel's vocals are incredible as expected too..

Worth of buying.... Hmmm, we shall see.... For me it sounds "just" traditional swedish power metal.... I don`t know why, but I wasn`t touched... if you know what I mean. Too swedish, I say, too swedish! (bossibly I still get it some day anyway...)

Excellent news.  I always felt Eternity was one of their weakest songs, but Dreaming Awake and She are two of their best.  And new material from them is most definitely welcome news for me.

Resurrecting this topic because it's out now and I'm curious as to what others think.

Personally, I don't think the remakes are that much of an improvement aside from the production.  Eternity has a bit more bite this time around, but Dreaming Awake was actually better in it's original form.  So that part is overall kind of meh in my opinion.

The real attraction is the new tracks.  In His Heart and Feed My Hunger are both great songs.   Not sure if they were part of the Theater of Redemption recording sessions and got left off of the album or if they were later songs, but if it's the former, that's kind of a shame.

Definitely recommended to anyone who likes the band.  At the very least, get In His Heart and Feed My Hunger off Amazon/iTunes/Google/etc.
