Golgatha

Post by d@v!d on Tue Apr 14, 2015 10:29 am

Queued up Golgatha this morning.

I never saw these guys play, but I do remember seeing flyers for their shows.

Some years after they broke up, I used to hang out with the bass player's cousin who has since gone on to glory.

There aren't enough heavy metal mustaches these days.  Today's metal needs more singing; less growling, and more mustaches; less gotees.

I played in a band called Golgotha. I guess it never occurred to us that it was a frequently used name.

I didn't know that was your band.  I actually have a couple of songs that the band had for download on the band's myspace page (ages and ages ago), that I still listen to on occasion.  My favorite was a track that I think was called "From Glory to Glory".  Did you guys every press any cds/cdrs?

You're not the first to ask. I'm trying to regain contact and find the master.

Maybe he needs some motivation.  Somebody who lives in Texas needs to drive over to his house and give him some incentive.  Maybe a few tents pitched in his front yard will do the trick?

It's certainly worth a shot!  Are there protestors-for-hire that we could just contract out?  We could make a Kickstarter to hire them.

Let him know we will hold him down and shave his mustache.

Theirs was kind of unique as it was spelled with an 'a.'

Really, go find those masters.

The former member I need to talk to is on tour with another band through summer. I'm at a stand still until I can get with him.

Can we keep our goatees if we have the mustache to go with it?  I mean, my mustache and goat kind of round out my head as I just don't have that much hair on top.  Without the mustache and goat, I would look like a big ol' peeled onion with a little fuzzy mold on top.

lol!

This would be another great reason for me to consider the jump from metal to rock based blues.
