Step two.....

Post by exo on Sat Nov 09, 2013 7:43 pm

Well, at least it's not 8-bit midi this time......

that's not to say it's played well, mixed well, (certainly not mastered), or that the tone is any good.......but it's actual guitars this time.  bassline is still midi, and can't wrap the head around drum programming yet.....

I am liking the guitar tone.  Is that just one track or two for your rhythm guitars?

I'm not entirely happy with it, just a hair too wooly/flubby to me. The main guitar is doubletracked, but just a copy/paste rather than two performances.

Try making the guitars two separate performance, but try to match what you did exactly.  This will tremendously fatten your sound and give you a wider stereo sound.  Give it a shot.  I think you will like the outcome, Exo.

Sounds great bro! I really like what you did with the intro; awesome tone IMO. Good melodies as well. Keep up the refinement, and keep us updated. Twisted Evil
