Bloodgood similarity to Ozzy? Empty Bloodgood similarity to Ozzy?

Anyone notice, in the Bloodgood song, "I Will", toward the middle, there is a bass lick that is awfully similar to the one in the Ozzy song, "No More Tears"?  Is it just me?  And, do  you think this was done on purpose, because it's note for note.  For reference, it's at 1:55 in the song.  Interested in feedback.

That's a really generic bass lick IIRC.  Just a hammer on from 5-7 on the A string with low E notes in the middle (tuned to whatever).  I'm sure different people could come up with the same thing.

Probably was on purpose. People get inspired by other musicians all the time.

I thought the same thing when I first heard it.  It's too dead on to No More Tears to be an accident.

I agree with you on this one - the tempo, strumming pattern - everything is exact.  I completely understand about influence.

Just like in Gary Hoey's cover of Hocus Pocus he does throws in a breif bit of Ted Nugent's Stranglehold.
