Re: Black Bambi reissue
Sounds good, but they're not a Christian band.
Probably should be moved over to the other section.

Oh, we know....boy do we know...
OBVIOUSLY, JUST KIDDING
Anyway...
It's not something Matt released through his own companies...he is just selling them.
He has a lot of non-Christian stuff up for sale through Boone's Overstock..including a Stephen Pearcy album.

I'm not saying I didn't mention them but help me remember when. I'm having a senior moment.

Maybe it was someone else. Or I might have even seen it on the Heart Of Metal forum. Since you post lots of throwbacks I assumed it was you. Maybe not!Black Rider wrote:I'm not saying I didn't mention them but help me remember when. I'm having a senior moment.

Re: Black Bambi reissue
Am I alone in thinking "Black Bambi" sounds like a 70's blaxploitation movie title?
Like Cleopatra Jones or Foxy Brown?

That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking.
I can just hear the voice over for the commercial now...Shaft's confidential informant goes from walking the streets hustling her body to taking out bad hombres in the new film "Black Bambi Back on the Streets".

Re: Black Bambi reissue
I was thinking it might be a P.C. remake of the original Bambi with an all Black, Female cast.

Re: Black Bambi reissue
Anyone else wondering how any metal band could have “Bambi” in their name?! I loved their music but Cinderella had the same problem. What self respecting men playing heavy metal music sit around and decide on names like “Black Bambi” and “Cinderella”?

Lizzy Borden is a very metal name...she chopped people up with an axe. Doesn't get much more metal than that..lol

I forget the story, but Alice Cooper has a story that gives it some context. With Black Bambi, Cinderella, and Britny Fox (good call!), it just seems the name was chosen for whatever reason.
