I'm so intrigued by this, Nikki Sixx was one of the first musicians that made me want to be the bass player in a band.

generally not a fan of Motley Crue I do like some of their music but I am very interested in watching this. I love that more and more music bio movies are hitting Netflix, the Big Screen, etc..

Of course, the downside of that is that the reason more and more of these are coming out is because we are all getting old and they're all retiring

Always been a fan of the Crue. Looking forward to it. I saw them on G, G, G tour with GNR opening, General Admission so we worked our way to the very front. Was an awesome show, I was right below Mick and would just stare at his guitar when he played.

Re: Motley Crue The Dirt coming to Netflix
The movie is pretty raunchy as you would expect with the Crue as they were total animals. I like the 4 songs they recorded for the soundtrack. I added some rarer cuts from compilation projects through the years to make it a full length release.
Re: Motley Crue The Dirt coming to Netflix
I got about 5 minutes into it and couldn't watch it any more. For one it was too raunchy for my tastes, and two, it was like it was written by a 13 year old.

This is a PG version compared to the book. Some of the book is almost unreadable it's so crude.

I tried to read the book and had to skip parts of it because it was so bad.
I did watch the film and agree that it was almost PG compared to the book.
My only real complaint about the film was that it seemed to be a notch or two below professional quality....almost like a "made for TV movie"

Re: Motley Crue The Dirt coming to Netflix
I watched it.
I've been a fan of the Crue since their first demo came out. Saw
them a couple years later in 1983.
But I never knew about their personal lives until this raunchy flick.
Was rather surprised that Vince was the only sober one (after his manslaughter charge).
Didn't know that Nikki OD'd to the point of death and was resuscitated by a (paramedic) fan. I didn't know he had no love for his Mother.
I didn't know that Tommy was more about romance than being a rocker or druggie.
I didn't know that Mick has a chronic pain condition. That would explain his statue like on stage presence.
But I did know they led a life of debauchery. And I knew they put on the whole devil thing just to get attention.

I fast forwarded in spots. I shaved nearly 30 mins. off the run time by skipping those parts.
Re: Motley Crue The Dirt coming to Netflix
I tried to read Heroin Diaries, but I couldn't finish it. It should be a short read, but I just thought that the repetition of an addict blaming other people was enough at work for 40 hours a week and I didn't need it in my leisure time (at a distance, meaning he wasn't asking me for any kind of help). So, I haven't been able to avoid all the Pub for this, but I have No interest.
I think they have some Great music, but I'm just not interested in this even with Machine Gun Kelly being a part of it.
