P.O.D. -"Circles" album review
"(The album)" Circles "is a work of excellence and could be played from end to end in the concerts (an experience that I recommend everyone to enjoy at least once in life) because even in calmer times the march is never diminished and the astral is always up there. Well better than the just regular "The Awakening" and with the potential to appear on the podium of many people's favorites. "

"Circles" shows nothing that a fan no longer expects from the Californian quartet P.O.D. since they are more than 25 years together and with very few changes of formation which, of course, results in a band together and knows where to go without making much effort.
Since when the only block of the blockbuster "Soundboy Killa" was released with the same name that the band was in the balance to make a remarkable album, the kind that if you listen to what you see most is to check how the songs will sound Live and go out singing altogether euphoric.
And already the face to the impact with a violent "Rockin 'With The Best". Of course, it's not as heavy as the tracks on the band's first album ("Snuff The Punk", 1994), but it's been a long time since they heard P.O.D. make such an abrasive sound like that. It gives a smile to the lips when imagining the generalized and organized puzzle that will be the mosh pit with her in the shows. In addition, what was also well nourished with the inclusion of "On The Radio" and "Home" when coming out with all the teeth in the mouth would be the greatest achievement.
"Always Southern California" is very atmospheric, with a special and pleasurable sense of hearing, it is an anthem to the Southern California lifestyle, since a band emulated as physical characteristics of the place in the form of music.
"Fly Away" and "Domino" carry a lot of the group's smooth reggae, run a huge flight range and sail with friends and even alone.
The track delivers one of the most beautiful melodies and compositions written by Sonny (voice), Curiel (guitar), Trace (bass) and Wuv (drums). It comes with a sense of comfort, joy and inner peace that are details stuck in the band's history. Despite the melodies, "Dreaming" sounds a little dense and "adult" than the rest of the present non-repertoire joviality.
"Panic Attack" and "Listening for the SIlence" take on the responsibility of bringing the vibe "take your foot off the floor" into the disco, the fun pure and simple. A first bringing a Sonny abusing rap vocals, a factor that is repeated in other tracks and that very well in the proposal of the disc, and the second time more commercial and radiophonic is doing very well in discotheques as "payable in death" (2003) . or "Testify (2006) if they are recorded with a current background.
The band that can not be extended, without fail and without response seems to be incomprehensible. What they propose their own ability: good music. "Círculos" is a work of excellence and could be played from end to end in the quietest shows the march is never diminished and the astral is always up there. Well better than the regular "The Awakening" and with the potential to appear on the podium of many people's favorites.

Re: P.O.D. -"Circles" album review
P.O.D was a revolution in the late 90's and the one time I can say I was part of a musical movement. I've lost track of P.O.D. over the years, since I don't really care about rapcore anymore, but these two new tunes are really good songs. I'll probably download any tracks that interest me now.

After listening to the whole thing on youtube, "Listening To The Silence" was the song I heard on Sirius.

Re: P.O.D. -"Circles" album review
I've kept up with them over the years. I never used to really like the reggae and rap infused stuff too much. Now, I love it all. Haha! The album Murdered Love is a masterpiece through and through. Give it a shake!

Maybe I will. That one and Circles are the only two I don't have.
