Crente hails from João Pessoa, Paraíba in Brazil. The band's name means "Believer" in Portuguese, which accurately reflectstheir self-description of "extreme gospel music." Starting out as grindcore in 2022, the band quickly shifted gears to playing in a more death / thrash metal style.
