KARAMKARAM says HI!!!!
Hello guys, it's been a LOOOOOOONG time since I last posted here.
I am making a new life with my wife and son in Mexico you probably know that as YOU helped me to make it happen. I can't be more grateful to God and the brothers He put in my way.
These months in this not now so new country have been very trying. We have had our ups and downs. Since last Monday I am working at a Travel Agency but prior to this I was working at a show store and a restaurant, In the restaurant I was received by a great guy who was very helping and understanding, in the few months I worked with him I got to meet him as a FRIEND sadly he was killed by someone trying to steal his car.
My son it's doing great at preschool and he is one of the best of his class, my wife says that comes from her family LOL. A couple of months ago mt wife lost our second baby in an spontaneuos abort this hit us REALLLLLLLY hard as we were looking for another baby, since our lost we cried a lot and was in denial, I was bitter, and angry with God but not so much now, I know His plans are better than ours and all we can do it's to learn to trust and rest in Him and Him alone.
Right now my wife has started applying to different jobs and even thou I prefer her to stay at home she says she will be better occupying her mind on other things/tasks. I would reaaly appreciate if you could pray for that and for peace on her heart.
What can I say about Mexico City this is HUGEEEEEE compared to where we lived in Venezuela. One of the things we enjoy the most it's going to the ZOO my son freaks out with the animals and his favorite is the wolves and gorillas that are easily spotted there. We go there almost weekly and relax, the other attraction we enjoy it's going to the aquarium as my wife loves the penguins so much. There have been a numerous of rock, metal and prog concerts but I haven't attend yet as we are trying to save as much money as we can.
We are still looking a church that meet our expectations before going to the zoo on Sundays we go to church we have visited almost 20 different churches and are praying for the "right" one, at this point we think we have found it.
I want to say sorry for not being as active on the forum, in fact I havent either on FB I just occasionally log in, as a parent and head of a family in a new country I am trying to do all in my capabilities to be the man an provider I am called to be, and the forums and FB it's very time consuming, however if you want to reach me here's my email and my FB just add me, that is where you can drop me a line or two and I will reply as soon as possible:

I have not ceased praying for you guys, I just ask you to do the same for us, but especially for our family in Venezuela who are suffering a LOT if I would tell you the things they are enduring I know you would be shocked, their situation it's only worsening as the days pass.
Lots of love for you all guys, God bless you!

Great to see you!
I was very sorry to hear about the loss of your child (the same thing happened to me & Mrs. Staybrite many years ago, and it was difficult for a few months).
Very glad to hear the three of you are doing well (even with the work challenges), and don't feel bad at all about not checking in her very much...I think we are all more than happy that things are going relatively well for you and your family is in an much safer environment.

My wife and I had two miscarriages in the early years of our life. It's real hard. It is still hard for us as we were never blessed with children after that. Many of the people our age are becoming grandparents now, and I will never have that joy, either. Many people wonder if their kids will take care of them when they get old. We have already begun to wonder IF someone will care for us when we get old as there are no nieces or nephews that are responsible or financially able to do that even if we were close enough for them to help out.
I don't blame you for not checking in. You've had to rebuild your lives after relocating. That takes time. It takes time to heal from the uprooting you've had to do. It is hard enough to move when it is just a job that is making you relocate. You had to flee to another country to save your family for the most part, have had to deal with miscarriages, and you still have family living in the horrid conditions back in Venezuela. Trust me--we understand not being here! We miss you, Antoine, but you have got to care for your family first!
Re: KARAMKARAM says HI!!!!
Sorry for the late response to this thread; life's been very hectic here as well. But it is so good to see you here and to know that you're alright, despite some difficult times you've faced. Indeed, God is sovereign over all of it. Praise be to Him!

Good to hear from you. Evidently this has been very trying for you on many levels, but it's good you're finding joy in things like the zoo. Even if things aren't clear now, and things may stay unclear for a while, you're still holding on to your heavenly Father, and that's encouraging to see.
