New release by JD3 (formerly The Jondo Trio)
I stumbled across this blues rock band a few years ago on eMusic and bought their debut album and a single that I thought would become a new record. It didn't. But, I have played that album quite a bit. They sound like what would happen if Waylon Jennings sang with ZZ Top but they all got saved.
Well, I again stumbled across a new album that was released digitally last year. They now are called JD3 as this trio now has a keyboard player. So, I guess they decided on JD3 instead of The Jondo Quartet! LOL
You can hear clips and buy the downloads at CD Baby:

I like some of those songs until but they are a little scattered on style.

That's part of their charm to me. Every song doesn't quite sound the same as the rest. They are a blues band. Some songs are heavier while others aren't. I have two full albums by them and am loving them more with each listen.

Nate here (the singer for jd3)--scattered is a fair assessment of us. I never sit down and say "I need to write another JD3 song" I just see what comes. Appreciate the kind words though. thanks!

Agreed, thanks for stopping by and giving us a little insight to your creative process. It's always great with musicians stop by and comment on their music.
