Albums that trigger vivid memories
What are some albums that bring back memories of a place or time when you remember it as if it's happening all over again?
Amorphis Skyforger and Silent Waters are two that do this for me. I ran a trail race and then camped a few summers back in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Now, every time I hear these albums, I'm back in those northern landscapes running along the shores of Lake Superior. Last summer I got to take my wife hiking and camping there and had to listen to Amorphis again, as if they are the soundtrack to the U.P. So now the memories are even more engrained and varied when I listen to them.

Metallica - Master Of Puppets
Reminds me of when I was very young listening to my uncle play Metallica riffs from that album.

Probably Killswitch Engage's debut self titled album. One night years ago me and some friends got really trashed on vanilla vodka and sunny d. We just let that album play on repeat. The next day I had one of the worst hangovers I ever had.

Megadeths Peace Sells because it was the first ever thrash band I had ever heard and getting into a heated argument with my cousin who introduced me to Master Of Puppets by Metallica and I told him Peace Sells was better and he proceeded to smash a Twinky in my face and I smashed a bon bon in his. 12 year olds in the 80s those were the days to love music

When I was getting into The Scorps, The third release I purchased was Love at Sting. I'll never forget how fired up I got when I first heard the song Coming Home. I was like. :Ihavw to see these guys live!" I have seen them many times since.
