So we've had several weeks to absorb Outlive now. What I'd like to try is for all us diehard DH fans to list, in order, their favorite to least favorite albums. Furthermore, list your favorite song from each album (if you can decide). And lastly, bold your all-time #1 favorite DH song (if you can decide). Follow my lead.

They haven't made a bad album in my opinion but Outlive had the least catchiest songs.

Sorry way to hard on my favorite albums to choose just one song

The Triptych is incredibly nostalgic and sentimental to me, so just about every song on there is amazing

Out of the people who have posted so far, True Defiance and The Triptych are the most consistently highest ranked albums

I'm not surprised. The Triptych is a really great album IMO. 

The Triptych (And their s/t) should be arriving in my mailbox today.

I don't have any of the early albums. I bought True Defiance and found the very metal sound, the addition of better solos and the somewhat gothic element to be extremely attractive. I'd never connected with any of their older material and had ignored them largely to that point. I also wasn't a Christian then either (though I was in name). Extremist pushed that even further with more variety. When I finally started going backwards and got The World is a Thorn and Storm The Gates of Hell I liked them much less. Hearing songs off the early material I haven't truly loved any of them.

So, considering the last 5:

1) Extremist - In Time
2) True Defiance - God Forsaken
3) Outlive - Slight The Odds
4) Storm The Gates of Hell - Carry Me Down
5) The World is a Thorn - Collapsing

Hmm, I'd have to think about how to rank the albums, but in order of release, here are my favorite songs
