'68- Two Parts Viper
I just discovered this album more or less by accident when it released last week. I don't know if it's technically a "Christian" project since the lyrics don't seem to be a about anything in particular in most instances, but I thought it probably still fit here since it's a two-man band comprised of Josh Scogin (The Chariot) and Michael McClellan (Becoming The Archetype).
I never really got into The Chariot, but I'm really enjoying this. Some of the hardcore roots are still there, but there's also a heavy influence from classic grunge and Jack White-esque garage rock. As odd as that all sounds, it somehow works for me. Anybody else like these guys?

I like 'em...just picked this up and have only listening to a couple tracks so far. Have the debut as well.

Sounds like a tribute to White Stripes with a little Queens of the Stone Age and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club mixed in.
Portland hipsters will be all over this.

I personally love the debut, gonna have to let the new one grow on me some more
But I realize if it wasn't Scogins in this band I probably would have no interest in them

Saw them at Audiofeed Festival last summer, it was cool. Liked the debut, will definitely get this -- thanks for the heads up!
