Absurd²

I'm sure most of you guys have heard of this side project from some of the guys from Extol. It's really too bad that they never pursued it beyond just recording that 3 song EP. A friend at church gave it to me around 2005 knowing that I would dig it. And he was right! I still listen to just these 3 songs from time to time. It's been a mainstay in my car for years.

I liked it, too. It reminded me of early Believer.

I used to own this but couldn't get into it. I think the better Extol off-shoot is Mantric.

I finally picked this up last year.  I like it.  My only (minor) complaint is that the disc won't read in my computer to rip to iTunes.

Never heard this before. Its pretty good...

I would've liked to hear more of this style myself.

I think I might have the mp3's on a flash drive or cd somewhere. I will look for it and if I find it I will send it to you. 

It's totally Believer inspired. Mantric is cool. I like Lengsel too, one of their other side projects

I'd appreciate that!  I've got "Wisdom" from the In the Shadow of Death comp so I don't need that, but mp3's of the other two would be appreciated.

The CD plays fine in my home CD player so I can listen here, but won't read in my computer so I can't put it on my iPod for portability.

My impression of it years ago is it sounded like a "thrash" project made by guys who primarily listened to metalcore and "extreme metal".

I didn't really think it sounded all that much like BELIEVER.  BELIEVER are more inspired by bands like Destruction.
